Welcome to SHX (SkillsHiveX) (“SHX”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
SHX operates a collaboration-led platform that helps skilled individuals, solopreneurs, micro-businesses, and agile teams connect and work together on projects.

By accessing or using the SHX website or platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use SHX.

  1. Who SHX Is (and Isn’t)

SHX is a facilitation and delivery engine, not an employer, recruitment agency, or project owner unless explicitly stated.

  • SHX enables introductions, collaboration, and project delivery
  • SHX is not a party to contracts formed between users
  • Users are responsible for agreeing terms, scope, fees, and delivery between themselves
  1. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Use SHX for professional, lawful purposes
  1. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and truthful information
  • Keeping your account secure
  • All activity carried out under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

  1. Projects & Collaboration

SHX provides tools and processes to support collaboration, including project matching and retrospectives.

  • Participation in any project is voluntary
  • Project terms are agreed directly between participants
  • SHX does not guarantee project availability, income, or outcomes
  1. Fees

Where applicable, SHX may charge:

  • Platform fees
  • Engagement or success-based fees

Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated before they apply.

  1. Intellectual Property
  • You retain ownership of your own content
  • By using SHX, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display content for platform operation
  • SHX branding, content, and systems remain SHX intellectual property
  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent skills or experience
  • Harass, exploit, or misuse other users
  • Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data
  • Circumvent platform processes
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SHX is not liable for disputes between users
  • SHX does not guarantee project success or income
  • Any liability is limited to direct losses only
  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Use harms the community or platform
  • Required by law
  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
